“Result Exhibition of Community Work Promotion, Taipei City Government” will be held at Community Empowerment Network, Taipei (No. 237, Sec. 2, Yanping N. Rd., Datong Dis., Taipei City 103) at 10:00AM on Friday December 2nd 2011. All citizens are welcome!
Department of Urban Development, Taipei City Government states that in order to let our citizens and the community empowerment workers understand the working detail and result by the Taipei City Government when it comes to promoting community works, the Community Empowerment Network, Taipei will display all the related information in this permanent exhibition. At the same time they will publicize the service function of the community empowerment network and create the resource network between the departments.
On the day of the event Taipei Municipal Taiping Elementary School’s lion dance team will perform the “Congratulation from the Taiping Lions” to start off the exhibition. The volunteers from the community empowerment will be the guide to the exhibition. There are abundant of items at the exhibition, includes the result of the community empowerment plan in 2010 by the Department of Urban Development, plan of vitalizing the idle farmland by the Department of Economic Development, promotion of little environmental protection school by the Department of Environmental Protection, the development of the back alley by the Public Works Department, community caring hotspot by the Department of Social Welfare, citizens’ creativity theater by the Department of Cultural Affairs, transformation of community environment by the Department of Civil Affairs…etc.
