    "title": "\"Xinyi fun City, Wonderful 100” zone and creativity events officially begins",
    "Content": "Xinyi District’s development started in 1981 and will enjoy its 30th anniversary this year. Throughout this period, the district faced many planning challenges, including: the building of a skyscraper, the construction of a sky walk bridge system, the opening of an expressway, launching of Taipei City Hall Bus Station and many other financial activities. All of these elements made Xinyi not just the Taipei governmental center, but also a financial center and fashion center, in addition to many other important roles. It serves as Taipei’s gateway to the world.For the celebration of Xinyi’s 30th anniversary, the Department of Urban Development spin on the theme of “ Xinyi fun City, Wonderful 100” in hosting a series of activity, includes “Travel Xinyi”, ”In Xinyi”, ”Focus Xinyi” and “International Urbanity Forum”. All of the series began operation at the end of September. Every Saturday in October, volunteers will be guiding visitors through Xinyi District and allowing visitors to understand the history and the core values of the city.On 21st of Oct the opening ceremony will be held in front of Vieshow pedestrian walkway with videos to show the past and present of Xinyi. Then on the 28th and 29th , there will be four places (Taipei 101, Eslite, New Stage and Vieshow pedestrian) with designed XY (abbreviation of Xinyi) booths where citizens can check in and collect stamps at each booth. The event is to promote tourism around the district. After the completion of collecting all of the stamps, citizens will be able to take a picture at Vieshow Pedestrian zone to exchange for a limited present. Lastly, on the 30th of Oct at the Vieshow Pedestrian zone, there will be a ceremony showing X and Y shapes combined with a music concert to celebrate the 30th birthday of the district.     "Content": "After a month of accepting videos for the“Dream Taipei” function, all videos will be shown at the Taipei Hall of 2011 Design Expo Nanggang site on 22nd of Oct. On 25th of Oct at 11am, the press conference will promote and announce the success of the events. The invitation will go to every media, please join us for this wonderful experience.The concept of the“Dream Taipei submission activity”is to collect the dream of citizens of Taipei, and every one is free to sketch out their city of dream. A month of accepting videos from 15th of September till 15th of October, there were more than 200 citizens who uploaded their clips, after the selection from 100 professional judges, the best clips will be shown in the 2011 Design Expo. This is not just the dream of citizen but the power that support Taipei in the competition of 2016 design city with energy to reshape Taipei into a creativity city.Other than the opening ceremony of Taipei hall Design Expo on 22nd and the dream Taipei exhibition, the press conference on the morning of 25th will also invite all award winners to receive their awards and make their winning speech. In addition, the famous blog writer, WanWan, will share her experience in creative filming at the conference. Lastly, all the elementary children will have a chance to interact with the hi-tech media in the dream zone. The creativity seed will start to plant into the heart of the youth and further strive for a brighter future of Taipei.Dream Taipei, the exhibition and press conference will be held at 11am on 10/25, at 4th floor, central section of Nanggang exhibition hall.     "title": "The 9th Urban Colorful Makeup Movement (The Face of Taipei City), 2010",
    "Content": "For the ninth year, Taipei City Government is encouraging projects that promote urban renewal and improvement by publicly recognizing the construction of buildings that coordinate environmental concerns with innovative ideas.  Selected applicants for this year will be recognized in order to raise public appreciation of the buildings’ exteriors and the quality of environment to serve as inspiration to make improvements to their own environment through renovation and regular maintenance.There are two other special arrangements for the event this year.  In order to raise awareness of the living environment, the city government will call for ten properties for selected architects and designers to renovate.  Besides, three forums will be held to discuss the urban context.
