In order to encourage youngsters, newly weds, and families with underage children living in the city, Taipei City Government provide furnished public housing up for application since 2011. TCG hope to relieve the pressure of living cost from the citizens.
TCG work hard to reverse the shabby and dirty impression of public housing. Since most residential community management today was provided by building management maintenance companies, the Talungtung Public Housing’s management will be given to the companies with successful achievements. The management company will appoint onsite supervisors to manage all community matters. Human resource from public agency will be reduced, high quality public housing will be provided, and a win-win-win situation between citizens, management companies, and TCG will be created.
With the opening of Talungtung Public Housing Service Center, convenient daily services such as mail and package collection, laundry service, fax service within the country, printing service…etc. All services are provided with user fees. The Good Neighbor Carnival Event “Build Your Own Happy Home at the Joyous Talungtung” is planned to be held at the Talungtung Community Courtyard on Sunday, August 12th, 2012 at 3:30pm. The event includes rock music and magic entertainment, simple catering service and a lottery entertainment. This is expected to be a great social opportunity for Department of Urban Development, the management company, and the tenants.
