The deadline of applying for “2013 International Co-workshop by University/NPO Grant Program” is on April 25th!
2013 International Co-workshop by University/NPO Grant Program, organized by the Department of Urban Development (UDD) of Taipei City Government, is in the progress of accepting applications, and the deadline is on April 25th. UDD hopes the new innovative ideas for urban development, and the cooperation and idea exchanges between domestic schools, NPOs and international teams will provide the domestic schools and NPOs with more opportunities on communicating with international professionals.
This is the fourth year for the UDD to organize the International Co-workshop by University/NPO Grant Program. With the planning scope provided by UDD and Taipei Urban Development as the theme, the new innovative ideas for urban development, the concept of urban spatial transformation and design, and the framework of follow-up implementations will be conceived through the cooperation and idea exchanges between domestic schools, NPOs and international teams. The applicants should be prepared with their own budgets and the applicants have to pre-plan the speeches, international seminars, international workshops and the related outcome presentations. Maximum six teams will be selected to be subsidized.
According to the UDD, the project has attracted participants from many of the top universities from all over the world. “Green Ecology” and “Cultural Innovation” is the theme of this year’s project. UDD hopes that the related values produced by the design can be quantified through different levels of design involvement, brainstorming more new design ideas, and the design, website connection and cooperation of different schools and NGOs.
The project for this year will continue to uphold the ideas of better international communication and cooperation. The deadline of the application is on April 25th, and schools and NPOs are welcome to apply for it.
