Taipei City Government has made an announcement regarding opening the Urban Planning Project of Taipei City’s Xinyi Planning District to the public for opinions for 30 days. Everyone is welcome to offer opinions.
The total area of Taipei Xinyi Planning District is approximately 153 hectares. In order to response to environmental changes and urban development trends, Department of Urban Development, Taipei City Government (UDD) has to re-examine the orientation of urban development in Xinyi Planning District, suitability of land use zoning, design control and other related issues. According to Regulations for the periodical overall review of Urban Planning Section 39, public opinions are required in the re-examining process. By doing so, UDD hopes that there will be more public participation in urban development.
If there is any concern regarding the project, please fill out the feedback form from the Urban Planning Workstation, which is located at 1F East Wing of Taipei City Hall, or Xinyi District Office. The form can also be obtained from the Department of Urban Development’s Official Website (http://www.udd.taipei.gov.tw/).
