Venice Architecture Biennale: Take the first peek at URS 127 Art Factory
URS 127 Art Factory will be planning “URS 127 Architecture Month” exhibitions and activities starting from today. On May 17th at two o’clock in the afternoon, we will invite curator, Mr. Lai Yen-Chi, from Taiwan Pavilion at the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale to introduce the topics and concept development process. We welcome all to participate!
Urban Regeneration Office said that Venice Architecture Biennale this year started early in June. Based on architectural arts and calling on historical spaces to echo this year’s theme “Fundamentals (principles, origins),” URS 127 Art Factory is promoting URS 127 Architecture Month” exhibition series. Since 2000, Venice Architecture Biennale has always been responding to urban regeneration topics. Along with International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR), both act as exhibitions that focus solely on urban development and using city culture as an anchoring topic.
Starting from 6/14, Ming Chuan University and Shih Chien University will collaborate, basing off the idea of tea ceremony, to emphasize on the interactive space between human beings. Urban Regeneration Office invites visitors to experience it first-hand. On 6/21 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, student volunteers will lead those who are interested to build architectural models in order to get a sense of the relationship between architectures and ourselves.
The series start on May 16th until June 23rd.
Series 1: “Architecture on Stage- Sneak peek at three important international architectural event” from May 16th to June 13th.
Series 2: “New Generation Architectural Relay- Ming Chuan University and Shih Chien University Joint Architectural Design Exhibition” from June 14th to June 23rd.
